This site was conceived in early 2004, in the wake of the breakup of Creed, by five Creed fans who were united by their passion for Scott Stapp's music. We felt that as a new chapter in Scott’s life began, it was time for a new chapter for us as well – time to establish our independence and provide a place on the 'net where fans of Scott could come to find not only information, but community.
The five of us began as fellow fans and acquaintances... we grew into a united force working together to form the website... and are now fast friends. We come from different walks of life, different generations, different sides of the world, but all find common ground here. Here’s a little bit about what we do for the site:
Anita (aka zhoya) is the mastermind behind the visual design of the site. Both its layout and the graphics that give it life are her concepts and execution. She is also mistress of the media, converting and editing all of the audio and video files so the site can accommodate them.
Elaine (aka ScottStappedMyHeart) is in charge of the daunting task of creating and maintaining the content of the photo archive. She not only keeps tabs on the over 3000 images we have, but is constantly creating more by making screen captures of every new video image that comes our way.
Frankie is the multi-talented woman who not only has a sharp nose for finding new information, but works constantly to compile old information for the site, transcribe interviews, type up print articles, and scan photos.
Julie (aka ChooseToLive) is the official webmistress, in charge of taking Anita's designs, Elaine's images, and Frankie and Sheryl's information and making it available on the website, updating it constantly and making sure everything is kept in the best possible order.
Sheryl (aka Rulz0529) is our expert transcriber, working to provide print versions of all of the audio and video interviews we host, in addition to assisting with typing print interviews and the gathering of new information.
The five of us worked collectively to conceptualize, organize, and create the website you now see, and it's a very safe statement to say that without even one of us, it never would have come to be. Our goal with this site is to provide an up-to-date, reliable, exhaustive center of information for other Scott Stapp fans. We will continue to work tirelessly to maintain the site, as we anticipate what’s to come both in Scott's life and our own.
